Take a Step - Help Find a Cure

 

StopHD was founded in 2004 and has raised over $230,000 for medical research for the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA) Indiana Chapter.  StopHD has received recognition for raising the most money of any other group for the Huntington’s Disease Society of America Indiana Chapter.  StopHD continues to raise awareness of this deadly disease that affects many families.  Indiana ranks 2nd nationally of people diagnosed with HD.   
 
The StopHD group has been mentioned in previous Indy Star articles, TV promotions for events as well as the Indianapolis Woman’s Magazine September 2007.

                  CELEBRATION OF SEAN IRWIN

 

 

 STOPHD will be hosting a "CELEBRATION of SEAN IRWIN" on January 2nd at Holy Name Church located at 89 N. 17th Ave Beech Grove Indiana 46107 in the Parish Center Conference Room from 1p-5p.  Food and drinks will be provided.  Feel free to bring any pictures you may have to share with the many friends and family.  The family has asked that any donations in memory of Sean Irwin be made payable to HDSA-Indiana Chapter memo: Sean Irwin Memorial.  We hope you will join us in celebrating a great man.  May Sean rest in peace.

Sean Irwin will be truly missed by many.  He lost his battle with Huntington's Disease on December 5th, 2009.  Please keep his family in your prayers during this most difficult time.  We hope you will continue to support our cause and fight with us to StopHD. 

 

There will be a Military Memorial Service on December 15th at 11am in San Diego, CA.  The family has asked instead of flower contributions that checks be made payable to HDSA - Indiana Chapter - memo section "Sean Irwin Memorial"
