StopHD was founded in 2004 and has raised over $230,000 for medical research for the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA). StopHD has received recognition for raising the most money of any other group for the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. StopHD continues to raise awareness of this deadly disease that affects many families. Indiana ranks 2nd nationally of people diagnosed with HD.
The StopHD group has been mentioned in previous Indy Star articles, TV promotions for events as well as the Indianapolis Woman’s Magazine September 2007.
